Contemporary Masters Honor Tradition

Roycroft Renaissance Artisan Collection

We've partnered with contemporary artisans who honor the original Roycroft philosophy of handcrafted beauty and honest materials. These makers earn the Roycroft Renaissance mark by demonstrating their craft through a years-long juried process proving their skill and commitment to authentic craftsmanship. Their pieces are connected to the same spirit that inspired your home's character.

Who Were (and Are) the Roycrofters?

featured image

The Roycroft community in East Aurora, New York, embodied the Arts & Crafts ideal that beautiful, handcrafted objects could enrich daily life while honoring both maker and owner.

Founded by Elbert Hubbard in 1895, the Roycroft campus brought together artisans who believed in quality over quantity, authenticity over mass production, and the satisfaction that comes from work done with genuine care. The community closed its doors in 1938, but a revival of the movement and its philosophy began in the 1970s.

Today's Roycroft Renaissance continues with contemporary artisans who understand that your home deserves handcrafted pieces created with Roycrofter values. Each piece connects your home to this living tradition of thoughtful creation.
